Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Muffin M — 13 May 2012
Butch (Paul Newman) is an eternal optimist and self professed visionary. Sundance (Robert Redford) is a level headed sharpshooter. Along with the Hole In The Wall gang, they show how th West was won..and lost.
Spurred on by a relentless posse that chases them half way across the country, Butch and Sundance escape to Bolivia where they attempt to begin life anew. But these legendary outlaws find that the times are changing even faster than the law men who are determined to bring them down.
Also stars Katherine Ross, Storther Martin, Henry Jones, Jeff Corey, George Furth, Cloris Leachman and Ted Cassidy.
Directed by George Roy Hill.
