Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by David G — 18 Jul 2012
Newman/Redford at their best in arguably the best western because of the never ending banter between the two of them. The bike scene with Newman and Katharine Ross is brilliant as it has nothing to do with the continuation of the story, but it's equally key in humanizing these characters even more for the audience's attraction.
There would be no LaForres in "Mallrats" without the original here.
