Review of Bus Stop (1956) by Katie B — 03 Aug 2006
A brash young cowboy falls in love with Marilyn Monroe's showgirl and whisks her off to Montana to marry him. Don Murray, as the protagonist, is obnoxious to the nth power, and we have to watch the indignity of Monroe getting pulled around, yelled at, and lassoed.
There's not an understated moment in the entire film. I absolutely hated this.
