I just finished watching this film. The acting is fantastic, particularly among the Native American actors. I got this mostly to watch Adam Beach. He keeps getting better and better. It's also a visually interesting film, beautiful and stark at the same time.
I haven't read the book, but I'd like to after seeing this.
