Irritating. Unbelievably earnest and serious, but awful direction and desperatly annoying performances makes this an unsatisfying T.V movie and one that is far below the expected quality of an HBO production. Everything here is dealt with far more effectively and entertainingly in HBOs brilliant Deadwood.
Gains half a star due to the fact that as a massive OZ fan it was fantastic to see Beecher and Schillinger reunited on screen in stand out cameo's.
