Review of Burton and Taylor (2013) by Kena D — 16 Oct 2013
Despite the strong acting (NBC trumps Lohan in every way imaginable), the show itself drags and is so slooow - the flaw is in such intimate examination of such a short period of time. The end result is repetitive and lacks a crescendo.
I actually had to watch in shifts, finding myself easily distracted. The theater lover in me enjoyed seeing the couple bring a show to life, though. Overall, I'm glad I saw it, but doubt I'd want to sit through it again.
