Review of Burnt by the Sun (1994) by Jörgen M — 05 Sep 2007
Amazing story with a frame that reminds of Tjechov. Blending acting and a masters touch from director Nikita Michalkov. He plays the leading role and the daughter in the film is the daughter in real life.
Beautiful and a haunting reminder of the power of Stalin in peoples minds.
