Review of Burnt (2015) by Chris T — 02 Nov 2015
Honestly, I'm not sure why this was given a 29%.
I thought the scenes were tense, and made me hope that Jones gets his third star. I felt like the twists were unexpected, the relationships were believable, and that the plot shed light on an industry and a world that both a lot of people have experienced and many have not.
If you've ever worked in a kitchen, it's amazing. If you haven't, this is a very honest portrayal of the lifestyle. Long hours, low pay, all about the love.
Also. It made my roommate and I the hungriest humans.
