Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Ann Q — 06 Jul 2011
An interesting time-waster. If you can stomach the annoying characters who give much ado about nothing and find stupidity as something insanely laughable, this movie is for you. It is a spoof on all the spy hype and expresses this in paranoia and well, stupidity.
I admit though it is obviously non-mediocre: the performances were well-played (for one thing, we see Brad Pitt charismatically play a stupid gym instructor), and the totality of the movie was well-edited.
Good technique, but only to the point that it is only good enough. B.
