Don't get me wrong, I love the Big Lebowski, but more and more I realize that this is the superior of these two very similarly themed films. This all star cast of morons and half-wits make up the most intelligent pure comedy in the Coens' portfolio.
And yet, the film also succeeds as a wildly inventive espionage thriller as well. Superbly crafted.
