Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Jonathan B — 13 Feb 2012
I give this the full five stars because I was throughly amused throughout the entire course of the film. The Coen Brothers manage to deliver a sprawling story of tremendous idiocy that points fun at both our promiscuity and stupidity as a culture.
The ending, when all is "resolved," and summed up is one of the most biting scenes in the film, delivering a blow that not only takes aim at both the audience and the populace, but at the Coens themselves.
