Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Don S — 22 Feb 2013
My first thought was "that wasn't very entertaining." My wife's response was "that was plain stupid." I can usually understand where the Coen brothers are coming from and generally enjoy their movies.
I just didn't get this at all. The characters are so over the top caricatures they came off as mentally challenged, and I just don't find that comical. Then there's Tilda Swinton - that woman gives me the heebie-jeebies.
My wife understood the sexual attraction for Clooney, so I guess it had some redeeming value.
