Review of Burlesque (2010) by Ching L — 22 Jun 2012
I am writing this review 2 days after the actual viewing of the movie and I hardly remember any of it, which rarely happens to me.
I remember enjoying the singing and the dancing and exclaiming at the terrific performance of Christina Aguilera. She was fantastic, immensely talented and charismatic.
But the plot was nothing too memorable and may be a bit on the dull side of things. Very predictable and uninteresting.
I do remember some of the pretty scenes and extravagant set design in the club though :).
Not too bad but I'd personally go for Chicago instead of this. Chicago has a much better plot and I loved their theme. and of course jazzy music.
