Review of Burlesque (2010) by Raffael B — 27 May 2011
Christina Aguilera makes her debut on the silver screen, and while her acting may not exactly be top notch, who cares about the acting when she sings like she does. I have long been a fan of her music, and I think she did an amazing job in this film.
Add to that the fact that it is a film about one of the most fascinating and intriguing kind of clubs and you have an all out song and dance fest which is certain to entertain. And lets be honest, this one is for men too, if not just for the eye opening wardrobe! But the highlight of the movie for me was 2 hours of the gorgeous Cam Gigandet, who may have only been there for the eye candy factor, but who the hell cares, because he is SMOKING hot.
All in all, thoroughly entertaining.
