Review of Burlesque (2010) by Jeanine V — 17 Nov 2011
Ok, so... Not a fan of musicals, not a fan of romcom's, not a fan of cliche'd plot's, but...I quite liked it. Yes it's overly done (Cayote Ugly, Make It Happen) but this has an edge in the form of Christina Aguilera and Cher, who's voices will stop you dead in your tracks.
Christina clearly hasn't honed in her acting skills yet but the rest of the cast supported her well and all in all it wasn't a half bad film.
