Review of Burlesque (2010) by Pip D — 15 Feb 2012
If I was basing my rating on Aguilera's singing performance then this film would get 5/5, no doubt about it... but when you add in the other one-dimensional characters, not-thought-through-only-there-for-a-tiny-sense-of-purpose plot, lame acting on behalf of Dane and Cher it would have to be 1/5.
Only reason I'm giving it 2 is because I love Stanley Tucci. Was told this would be a feel good movie, and I agree... I felt good knowing I could write a damn better film!
