Review of Burlesque (2009) by Zack S — 26 Aug 2011

I'll be honest, Burlesque was on my 'not interested' list because well, I obviously lacked interest. A friend of mine recommended it to me though, and giving it a chance I thought it was quite good! Sure, it has that die-hard 'chick flick' kind of feel to it.

However, there is definitely plenty of nice eye candy for us straight guys who normally wouldn't watch something like this. As far as the story and script go, this isn't totally original, but still decently written.

I also enjoyed the songs especially when Christina sang and overall I still had a lot of fun with it.
