Review of Buried (2010) by Thomas M — 22 May 2013
A movie doesn't get better than this for for a $2 million budget. The whole movie is filmed from inside the coffin and despite that seemingly boring concept, you never get bored. The limited amount of resources, that the main character must use to survive, and the ever shortening amount of oxygen keeps the movie really tense and at times it becomes nerve-racking.
That, and for obvious reasons, the movie plays with your fear of being trapped or suffocating in small places, which largely contributes to the movie's intensity. The writing and acting are also fantastic, but the movie is worth watching for its intensity alone.
