Review of Buried (2010) by Saitou Y — 13 Nov 2015

It's baffling to see a film set in a wooden box buried a few feet below starring Ryan Reynolds. Heavily relying on dialogue, Paul Conroy is a truck driver of a contracting firm in Iraq which was ambushed and next thing he know, he's entombed in a coffin with only a zippo and a cellphone.

As with most survival films, 'Buried' exhibits intensity and suspense with gaping drama that unfolds throughout the movie aided by strong performance by the lead actor and an unfathomable cinematography.
