Review of Bunny and the Bull (2009) by Adam E — 20 Apr 2010
When I first watched this film I was quite suprised by how dark the film is, I was expecting some boosch style humour (and I got it) but its seeped in dark humour and a pretty grim tone up untiul the end which is still tinched with sadness! A great film never the less with great cameos from noel fielding adn especially julian barratt in one of the greatest and sickly funny scenes in the movie.
Very much like the science of sleep in the sense of a loner using his head and imagination to help him through his life (only in this case its to cope with an event) and shares that kinda dream like and surreal quality to.
The film is beautifully shot and filmed, with great special effects (using all the aspects of stephens house) and really well acted with a cracking performance by simon farnaby (the fake howard moon).
Def worth watching for fans of both the boosch and films with a slight downer feel to them.
