Review of Bunny and the Bull (2009) by Anne F — 17 Nov 2010
Stephen is an obsessive-compulsive agoraphobic, who recreates a trip around Europe with Bunny, who is the sort of friend who thinks only of himself. The trip was a complete disaster and we find out how by flashbacks as Stephen struggles to leave his flat.
Bunny's awfulness is very overdone and whilst the film is beautiful to look at, I felt very uneasy about the treatment of Stephen's mental illnesses and the way that the film ended. This should, and could, have been so much better.
