'Bumblebee' is the only Transformers film that I've yet to see, and that's definitely a good thing, as the comedy, great music and amazing fight scenes are nothing like the past films.
However, ugly traces of the past can definitely be felt in the extended robot smashing action, boring villains and army interference. But, the emotional relationship between Charlie Watson and Bumblebee is the core part of this brilliant film and Bay's nasty touch is only slightly felt in Knight's brilliance.
