For Parents who want to take their kids to this movie. Please do they will enjoy it.

But for you...... Maybe not. Bumblebee is a questionable movie. After the first scene on Cybertron, the story takes us to earth where everything goes downhill. From John Cena's poor portrayal of a U.S soldier to Hailee Steinfield's annoying whiny teenage character.

Starting off with Hailee's character, Charlie, the lead actress has a hard time expressing her character's pain. Every scene Charlie is sad in, Haliee somehow makes you feel more disconnected to the character. The reason for this is that Bumblee can't talk. So there is no back and forth dialogue that can help expand her problems. Until Charlie meets her new Best Friend, Memo but this could be considered a waste of time since it takes longer for Charlie to open up to a complete stranger besides throwing in a character that already knows Charlie. This could of made the movie go by smoother if she already had a existing friend that she could rely on from the start.

Agent Burns [John Cena] is another character that doesn't quite fit in the movie. He is loud, obnoxious and half the time it seems like he doesn't even know what he is doing throughout the film. Everything is pretty much out of his hands which is the movies Comical Relief. If done right, it would of been hilarious yet you only end up laughing at John Cena's horrible acting. Either he didn't know how to portray his character or the fact that he was to self aware about his own stupidity that it was hard to digest the humor. All of his comical lines missed their mark and wouldn't appeal to the adult audience.

I'm not going to say anything negative about our beloved autobot, Bumblebee, since he was the only one that kept me entertain throughout the movie. Even though Charlie put Bumblebee through some cringy teenage antics, you can't blame the autobot for following such a cheesy lead character. After all Charlie was the only one Bumblebee could trust. The reason why Bumblebee comes off as alittle cheesy.

I don't know how this movie got such a high score with critics. I would give the movie a 60-65%.
