Review of Bumblebee (2018) by Jacob K — 01 Jan 2019
This is a movie about a girl getting over the loss of her father, there just happens to be Transformers in it.
This movie has the rare ability to make its' 2 hour run time feel more like 6 hours. Additionally, it suffers from an inability to know when it should end the movie.
Finally, this movie can't seem to decide what to do with Bumblebee. He needlessly switches back and forth between the known killer robot we've come to know and love and a whipped puppy dog.
In short, this is barely a Transformer movie. If you decide to see it, wait until you can view it where you can fast forward.
