Bumblebee delivers a fun adventure flick that while soft and heartfelt rarely ever feels lacking.

Though slow in some parts, full of gratuitist 80s hits and feeling like it could use just a bit more Transformers many times. Bumblebee is teaming with love and affection for the fans, and is a true love letter to those who were fans of the original g1 series.

Without getting into spoilers, bumblebee throws out much of not most of the Michael Bay continuity. And for many of us, this leaves the door open to a new and better future for the franchise.
