Review of Bumblebee (2018) by Don F — 23 Dec 2018

I wasn't sure what to expect from this film to be honest. It started off a bit slow but it really picked up pace and ended on a fairly high note. It definitely humanized the character to a larger degree than any of the past Transformer movies and it really worked.

Hailee's performance really stood out. I didn't really know her prior to seeing this movie but would definitely look forward to more movies with her. I would say 5e weakest point of the movie was Cena.

I couldn't tell if he was trying to be comedic or serious. It was an awkward and uncomfortable feeling. But all in all a good solid effort and can't wait for the sequel.
