Review of Bully (2011) by Alan L — 22 May 2009
A ludicrously talented cast of actors (RIP Renfro) portray these high school dropouts so authentically, verily, and methodically that you swear you remember them from detention hall. This is real life taken at its worst.
A devestating morality story. The murder brings to mind Rashomon, with so many points of view, many of them sad and unsure, featured in a climactic take. You'll feel unclean for days afterwards, unable to reconcile the titillation from the hedonist scenes with the grim results that follow.
