Review of Bullitt (1968) by Jeff B — 09 Aug 2009
This is my first time seeing this and I had a fun time. Though I'm sure a lot of the fun had to with me seeing this at the Hollywood cemetery. The open field was filled with hundreds of people and everyone was having a great time cheering and laughing (and of course, the car chase scene got a huge cheer). Anyway, onto the movie. Steve McQueen was a cool in this, he played a great hero and Robert Vaughn was also perfect as the "villain". The car chase was indeed awesome, very impressive, but I also loved the ending as well. Nice score as well. I'm glad I finally saw this.
And on a side note, the cemetery also had a nice little tribute to John Hughes.
