This movie takes FOREVER to get going. McQueen's performance is understated but very good. You can actually feel his temper smoldering at some points. Interesting seeing many actors (Duvall, Brown, Tayback, etc.
) in early roles. Vaughn does very well playing a total jerk. The chase scenes are thrilling and make the movie worth watching.
