Review of Bullitt (1968) by Suzanne L — 10 Apr 2013
Steve McQueen's never been better -- it's the non-acting school of acting; he's so inside his character there's no possibility of a false or self-conscious moment. He has this extraordinary concentration that's fascinating to watch, and a strength, a presence.
Frank P. Keller, the editor responsible for the now classic car chase through San Francisco -- really, the daddy of all car chases -- also created the hair-raising car chase in "The French Connection".
