Review of Bullitt (1968) by Vijay S — 04 Jun 2011
Bullitt is the original movie with the famous car chase scene. McQueen plays a sly detective who has the unoriginal persona of "I'll do whatever I want", but his acting is comfortable enough to get you through.
It is just a basic classic movie that has a cult following by muscle car fanatics and cop movie lovers. Other than that, the story is sub-par and it lacks any more dramatic scenes to further engage you into it, but maybe that was necessary.
This was a good watch just to catch up on the classics.
