Review of Bullets Over Broadway (1994) by Joel A — 07 May 2008
So many Woody Allen movies, especially a bunch in the 80's and early 90's leave me wanting more. I suppose the unwavering allegiance to this auteur prevents me from fully embracing the role of the NY Cinephile, but who the fuck cares! Like a lot of Woody, its just not funny and no matter how many novelties exist in the plot-line, a comedy that isn't funny makes for a lousy film.
