I realized something watching this movie. Susan Sarandon is unattractive. She was 41 when this movie was made and she looked about 53. And the movie flaunts her as this seductive sex symbol that a much younger Kevin Costner and Tim Robbins would actually be into. I don't get why Robbins wouldn't just stick with her hot blonde friend Millie. What's wrong with her exactly? She's more his age and actually hot. I'm expected to believe that Tim Robbins would pass her and any other women over for Susan Sarandon?
