Only Friedkin can take a play and turn it into a very good movie. We know that the war vet, if he really is a vet, is really screwed up and one thinks that perhaps Ashley Judd will assist him in pulling out of his delirium but.
..oh no, he drags her down to his own imaginary world. Really creepy and believable.
