Review of Buffalo '66 (1998) by Kyle T — 15 Mar 2008
Really a story about a tragic guy with a family that doesn't appear to know he exists. ..I have a feeling its because they can't relate to him - at face value they just come off as harsh and eccentric. The acting of Ricci and Gallo is perfect and they work really well together. Its excruciating watching Billy, his denial and refusal to connect with anyone and there's this girl so openly willing to accept him but he has to push through his own demons first..
It was a painful movie to watch.. but in its very own way. Even so, I'm glad I saw it.
