Review of Buffalo '66 (1998) by Laura M — 12 Jan 2009
This whole film is such a nice little package. Gallo wrote, directed, and started in the film, as well as played music for the sound track. It's a piece of art. Every shot could stand alone as a photograph.
Also I really enjoyed Gallo and Ricci's dependence of each other, and the intensity of his family. At times it feels as if it's happening in real time, which can be frustrating, but it's worth it.
