Review of Buffalo '66 (1998) by Simon D — 27 May 2011
A Classic. This film has everything a movie lover can wish for. Watching the performances of all the cast is a rewarding experience. As a first effort at Directing Gallo produced a masterpiece which is original, witty, sad, uplifting, beautiful, quirky, and insightful.
It's a very deep and meaningful film with a shallow appearance. Basically the film is full of contrasts which will surely be discussed for years and years in film schools around the world.
