Review of Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star (2011) by Brian R — 19 Jan 2012
Bucky plays like an homage to the Farrelly brothers (complete with the bowl hairstyle and carefree use of ejaculate), it has a crude exterior with a sweet middle. Don Johnson is surprisingly good and really stands out as being too good for this movie.
While I don't think it is near the disaster that the reviews suggest, I think there is a niche audience that finds Nick Swardson's characters bearable for more than 2 minutes at a time.
