Review of B.T.K. (2008) by Robert P — 02 Apr 2009
The main standout thing about this film is just how good Kane Hodder is. It's nice to actually see that he can act (and is very good too) and it's nice to see him with out a ton of make-up or a hockey mask!.
The film itself is fairly run of the mill stuff. Nothing really special, but it's quite good. I do feel that the ending is rather rushed though and the making of on the DVD spoils things somewhat by saying that it's pretty much all made up and that the lead character is only "based" on the real BTK killer.
In my view, if you are going to make a film "based" on a serial killer, then at least try and make it accurate. It is worth watching though.
