Pure cheese with all the bells and whistles of CGI thrown in. Tony Stark is a completely unbelievable, arrogant and insincere character and it is quite mystifying to me how so many fans of the film were able to identify with him.
Comic book film fans are used to this sort of thing but I thoroughly disagree with the assertion that it would appeal to many people that aren't normally fans of this genre.
