Review of Brute Force (1947) by Peter J — 04 Mar 2009
If this movie is on, I cannot stop watching it. I don't know whether it is the fine acting, the theme, or the nihilism (it is certainly not the score, or the occasional hackneyed phrase a.k.a the last line of the film).
But I watch, hoping that this time the doors will open. Hume Cronyn is terrific, as is Lancaster.
