Undoubtedly amusing. Even if you are offended, you have to appreciate it's earnestly approach. Of course it's compared to Borat which is one of the most original films in that last decade. Bruno still holds on it's own.
If you aren't aware that Cohen performed these characters years before they were unleashed in America. Sacha Baron Cohen is the closest we get to another Howard Stern. Offensive humor but something about them makes us want more and there's charm underneath it all.
That's my opinion though.
