Review of Brüno (2009) by Marlo L — 26 Mar 2012
Highly crude and offensive jokes to look out for, the leading Actor of Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen returns with probably the most surprisingly gritty, offensive and brutal comedy since The Hangover: Bruno.
In this movie, Bruno is a gay Austrian fashion monger but after being fired from his own television show, he then goes to the United States Of America where he fails an attempt at trying an acting career so he produces a celebrity interview pilot and realizing that it didn't work with anyone, he asks two gay converters to make him become straight after realizing that Tom Cruise, Kevin Spacey and John Travolta are all straight and so therefore eight months later he is now straight but Lutz who once loved Bruno fights him and they make out in the ring shocking the audience.
The now famous Bruno gets married with Lutz along with their black son OJ which appalls the priest and makes him walk away. The movie ends with Bruno singing a charity song titled "Dove of Peace" with Elton John seated at a piano and many other musicians during the song.
I wanted to give this film a 9/10 but I felt like it's too good so I'm giving it full score. Bruno gets a 10/10.
