This movie was destined for greatness when they put the ever sexy Tay Diggs with the beautiful Sanaa Lathan. The story takes us through a journey of ole skool muzic to modern day and how it's lost its way.
The back story in this is that that journey from then to now, it shows how their relationship has grown and also lost its way. But as the story wraps up, music is saved and their relationship is restored add much more then they'd bargained for.
With an all-star cast including Queen Latifa, Mos Def, this movie was never meant to lost its way.
