Brother Bear is an incredible movie. It definitely follows any other Disney movie in plot. It has a pretty good beginning but then, which is always known within Disney films, something tragic happens. Then it becomes a physical and emotional struggle for the characters until there is a happy ending. But regardless Brother Bear is probably one of my favorite movies.

This movie is about an indigenous tribe following a special ritual to turn the main character Kenai (Joaquin Phoenix) into a man. The three brothers introduced in the beginning display different characteristics that complement one another. Even the moose that have random scenes seem to help the story line move forward and they make watching this movie pleasant. The little cub Koda is a nice opposite to Kenai's strict and boring personality. You can see their relationship develop over the course of their Story. Kenai's journey throughout the movie is an emotional ride of laughable moments to low points where it's tremendously heartbreaking. Its ending is predictable but, very entertaining. Otherwise it's a decent end to the movie.

The animation style for this movie was well done and the music was good enough. This movie is roughly 80 minutes long (1 hour and 20 minutes) so it's pretty short. The characters are very likable and most will find this movie fun to watch. Overall this is a must see movie if you are looking for an enjoyable movie to see with the family.

This movie shows different themes of which an indigenous tribe would follow. The movie itself was a story told by Denahi, the second oldest brother, of how his brother was turned into a bear and how he became a man. Many Indigenous tribes tell stories that have a hidden meaning behind them and Brother Bear was an example of that. This story shows a basic understanding on why spirits are sacred to their tribes. Kenai during the movie only looked through the eyes of humanity seeing bears as monsters. but when he became a bear, Koda showed him that the hunter's would hunt the bears and that they would be defending themselves.
