Review of Brooklyn's Finest (2010) by Marvin R — 22 Aug 2010

Here's the problem - At 1hr 30 mins, I still couldn't decide which kind of movie this wants to be. By the 2hr mark, the plotlines had resolved, in utterly predictable and banal ways. I mean, is it a corruption movie? (Internal Affairs, Training Day) Is it a 'bond of the badge' movie ((Pride and Glory)? I just had a hard time reconciling the 20 different subplots that were dangled out there like forgotten participles.

Sure, throw it in for decent action, but don't build your Saturday night around it.
