Review of Brooklyn's Finest (2010) by Tom D — 27 Apr 2011
In a word, crap. The tag line is "Three unconnected Brooklyn cops wind up at the same deadly location after enduring vastly different career paths." Yeah but they don't interact with each other when they get there or do anything remotely of interest. Plus their individual stories are quite frankly dull.
We follow an undercover cop whose about to break, a cop with money troubles and one about to retire trying to keep his head down. Plenty of scope then to create some interesting background stories and build up to the final set piece. But no, the plots just plod along, plod along until the end, which is even more disappointing then the Star Wars prequels.
