Should be classroom material on how poor direction can completely fail to realise the potential of some great actors. Achingly slow and very subtle and sometimes confused development of characters throughout the film leading to a rush to bring it all together at the end. Got the point of the movie, not from the film, but from the special features.
I didnt get the end scene of Gere walking towards camera. What was that about?
