Review of Bronson (2009) by Scottie T — 30 May 2015
Bronson! Bronson is a masterpeice. It is an art film about the notorious british prisoner Michael Peterson a.k.a Charles Bronson. Tom Hardy made this role his bitch and it may be his best performance I have ever seen from him.
He captured Bronson so well and he went all out in this role. He was naked, he was drooling, he was discusting and I bareley even saw Tom Hardy and it was extrodinary. That is just the performance. The movie as a whole is brilliant as well.
Everything from the great direction from Nicolas Winding Refn, to the great score, writing and cinematography. It was all perfect. I don't see a flaw in this film. It's just crazy and all over the place and I love that, and I love how Nicolas Winding Refn made it work.
If it were someone else trying to make this movie I don't know how well it would work out but, Refn is brilliant behind the camera. If you haven't seen this movie and you are a Refn fan, I reccomend you see this movie.
If you really like Tom Hardy you should probably see this. If you like art films WATCH IT! If you like all of those things, then watch it right now, or you can watch it later, just make sure you watch this movie.
