Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Jason B — 13 Dec 2008
Jim Jarmurch is an unusual director and his films are sometimes hard to understand.
I saw that one in Paris and it didn't convinced me completely and I felt a little bored by the character of Bil Murray who seems to haven't have a good laugh since the 60's.
The pace of this film is quite slow and I think it's a movie dedicated to an audience far more experimented and older than me.
Nevertheless the casting is good , the storyline smart and all in all it's not a bad film...just a very serious one...
